Jiangyin AD Ultrasound Technology Co. Ltd. was founded in 2008. Our company is located in Jiang Yin High-Tech Park, China. We use state of the art equipment and advanced technology; customers are provided with a variety of customized ultrasound transducers according to their needs. In general, ultrasound transducers are used for medical imaging, diagnostics, and many types of non-destructive testing. Our products include an array of single and multiple-element transducers, utilizing piezo electric composite that can reach a frequency of 20 megahertz. We are currently in the process of developing a 25 megahertz, high-frequency, piezo composite. Our company also has research development and manufacturing facilities in the United States. We keep up with the newest technologies in the world and strive to innovate. Our mission is to utilize advanced technology to provide customers with competitive products and satisfactory service.

Our products are divided into 5 categories: medical ultrasonic transducers, industrial NDT transducers, special transducers used in other application areas, piezo-composite materials and proprietary acoustic materials. The medical transducers include linear arrays, curved arrays, annular arrays, phased arrays, small R convex arrays and 2-D arrays. The industrial transducers are listed in the following series:Phased arrays,TOFD transducers,Immersion probes,straight transducers,Angle beam transducers,dual element transducers,Thickness gage transducers, guided wave transducers,Customized transducers,spot weld transducers,Air born transducers,and flow meter transducers.The phased array transducers use similar technology as that of medical arrays. We offer customers various types of phased arrays with frequency up to 10 MHz and element count up to 256 channels. The frequency of TOFD transducers ranges from 2 MHz to 15 MHz. Among them, 5MHz /Φ6 and 7.5MHz/Φ4 models have demonstrated exceptional performance in the best on the market, showing 130% and 120% bandwidth measured on Plexiglas and polystyrene testing plates, respectively.
 
For immersion transducers, the highest frequency we offer is 20 MHz. By using optimally designed piezo-composite crystals combining with other proprietary materials, our immersion transducers demonstrated not only superior resolution but also excellent penetration with over 10 dB more sensitivity compared to same transducers made by others. As an example , for inspecting a thin weld layer in a structure of 16mm Mu , 0.3mm Yin layer and copper base, our 10MHz/Φ6 non-focused transducer used for c-scanning can easily resolve the thin weld layer defects. However, an imported 10MHz immersion transducer from a leading US company showed great difficulty to distinguish defects because of very poor echo signal even after 30dB magnification. 
 
Piezo-composite is a crucial material to make high performance phased arrays and other high end transducers. Our engineer with 20 years experience in designing and fabricating piezo-composite materials was among the first group of researchers developed the technology in US.
 
In comparison to companies abroad, the unique of our composite technology lies on: (1) comprehensive theory to guide new designs, (2)optimized design for each product and quick turn-around within a week for any new composite crystal and (3) offering the broadest frequency range of composites from 0.15MHz to 20 MHz. Even though many of our composite products are not available elsewhere on the market, we strike to make our best effort to meet our old and new friends’ new needs.
 
Most proprietary acoustic materials are results from many years of R/D efforts by our engineers. In many cases they are crucial to successfully making complex transducers. These materials include (1) high efficiency matching layer materials, (2) conductive high efficiency matching layer materials,(3)low loss delay line materials, (4) high temperature transducer materials, (5)high attenuation  conductive materials and (6) hard materials. Our proprietary materials could be a solution to your problems if there is a special need.
